Our happy New Year's News!!!!

We know most of you know that Eric came to Santiago to visit us
for 2 weeks during Christmas. We had a wonderful time with him,
playing, seeing the sights, swimming, doing missionary meetings, etc.
What you might not have heard is....

Eric and Lindsy Cutler are ENGAGED! We are so tickled! This came as a
great New Year's announcement on Jan 1, 2009. He proposed to her the
night before, and she said yes, right before the big ball dropped in
NYC! We have been getting acquainted with "lovely Lindsy" as I have
nicknamed her, and we love her already. She is a junior at BYU, and
grew up in Ontario, Calif. She and Eric really seem
happy together, and we know the Lord is blessing us, bringing her
into Eric's life and therefore, into our lives too. They are still
talking about the details, logistics, dates, places, etc, so we'll keep
all of the family informed, as we hear more.
Our cup runneth over with joy, as the Lord is blessing our family eternally.
