"La Sara" en campamiento de Mujeres Jovenes de la Estaca

Yes, Young Women's Camp goes on, even in Santiago Chile!
Sarah was VERY disgruntled at first with the idea that she was
going to go to camp with girls who only speak Spanish. She was
initially "not a happy camper!" However.....

After she decided to go, and another American girl, Kristen Jones
from our ward also changed her mind to go, and everyone had a blast.
She gained a new nickname/apodo, called, "La Sara" and they all kept
wanting her to come cook, eat, play, etc in their groups. We are grateful.
I will try to have her put on just a few of the many fotos she has
with her playing games, cooking, running, hiking, etc and even shared
her testimony too....Then last night they had a huge swim party at one
of the Chilean girls' home for all those who went to camp. They swam,
ate, danced to all kinds of music, just with chicas no less, but had
a ball. Then since it was a sleep over, and we don't do those in our
May family, she had our driver run her back over again this morning,
when the girls were all up and dressed, so they could still play more,
with 15 of them heading to the mall to see "Twilight Movie," again!
We are so thankful that she is developing friends with these girls from
the ward and stake, even many older than she is,but with her gift to mingle
and help others feel comfortable, she has a plethora de amigas!
