Visitors are WELCOME!

Yippee, Vicki and Jerry have arrived! We were so glad to have them
come and see us. They arrived on Thursday, and we helped get them settle in.
They had some swim time and then we had a nice dinner in the evening that Alejandro
prepared as he was also cooking for the Fase 2/3 for tomorrow. That was nice.

We had a busy morning on Friday, but they now know their way around the city, also the neighborhood, as they can easily walk to favorite Starbucks, etc for their daily fix, and sweet-tooth items when they want. In the morning we had our meeting with about 35 of us total for lunch after the Fase 2 and 3 sessions we held that morning. We did training and it all went fine and smooth for the stanslations. It was nice to have many of our missionaries meet Vicki and Jerry too. They were so impressed with these great 'kids' as they called them and we reminded them that they are super adults and they are 'missionaries,' not kids anymore! In the evening, Mike and I drove them to an AA meeting locally, that we found was held in English. They were so excited, and as I walked them to the back of the Catholic Church property nearby, I thought that this is again, another first for me, being in Santiago as a missionary for our church, hunting around for an AA meeting for another investigator!!!!
